About Us
History of Asha Jyothi PA Chapter:
Asha-Jyothi PA chapter started in 2019 and has successfully completed several projects for people in need. The chapter is particularly notable for its youth volunteer program, which has empowered young people to take on leadership roles and make a significant impact in their communities. This program focuses on developing essential skills such as time management, communication, fundraising, and presentation abilities, which not only benefit the volunteers personally but also enhance their ability to contribute to society. The youth leaders have initiated various projects, such as raising substantial funds for local food banks, improving sanitation facilities in schools in India, providing free dialysis for underprivileged patients, installing water filtration systems, donating school supplies, and even developing a mobile app for AJ's Charity Run/Walk event. These efforts demonstrate the chapter's commitment to education and healthcare, showcasing how age is no barrier to making a positive difference.
